Who We Are
The North American Meat Processors Association is a non-profit industry organization, now in its seventh decade. Our members are meat processing companies and associates who share a continuing commitment to provide their customers with safe, reliable and consistent meat, poultry, seafood, game and other products.

The Association, founded in 1942, is a member-driven organization with member companies both large and small throughout the United States, Canada and other parts of the world.

NAMP serves the business and professional needs of its members through a variety of services and educational programs, meetings and seminars.

The organization is best known by its acronym, NAMP, and is universally recognized for its world-renowned publication, The Meat Buyers Guide, now in its 38th year of publication.

To be known as the premier member driven Association of small to medium size North American meat processing and distribution businesses. Members will be more profitable by sharing their experience for the betterment of each other and the industry.

Mission: To provide our members with a forum for success with exceptional education, advocacy and access to resources while fostering life long relationships and long-term prosperity.

Meat Association Council:
The Meat Association Council was established in 2003 by meat industry trade associations to provide a forum in which members share knowledge and resources and identify issues critical to the industry. The Council coordinates action in support of or in opposition to consensus issues.
